Common Table Church

A Christ-centered family pursuing the lost and lonely

Mission & Vision

Vision: To be a Christ-centered family relentless in our pursuit of the lost and lonely — where every soul finds true belonging, where the hope of the Gospel lifts weary hearts, and where God-given gifts are poured out in love to build one another up, so that His name is exalted and ours fades like shadows in the morning light.

Mission: To proclaim the Gospel with steadfast hearts, that the name of Jesus be lifted high while our names fade to dust; to gather the overlooked, heal the hurting, and equip every believer to use their spiritual gifts — leaving only the fragrance of Christ in our wake.

Vision: Where we are headed …

To be a Christ-centered family relentless in our pursuit of the lost and lonely — where every soul finds true belonging, where the hope of the Gospel lifts weary hearts, and where God-given gifts are poured out in love to build one another up, so that His name is exalted and ours fades like shadows in the morning light.

Mission: What it looks like along the way …

To proclaim the Gospel with steadfast hearts, that the name of Jesus be lifted high while our names fade to dust; to gather the overlooked, heal the hurting, and equip every believer to use their spiritual gifts — leaving only the fragrance of Christ in our wake.

Core Values.

At Common Table Church, our values aren’t just beliefs — they’re a way of life. We walk in the light, stand on Scripture, and share life as one family. We pray first, depend on the Spirit, and speak truth with love. Every believer is equipped to serve, every gift is poured out to build up, and every burden is carried together. We go near and far with the Gospel, remembering the cross and enduring with hope — all so that Jesus is lifted high and His fragrance lingers long after we’re gone.

This is a place where you can belong, grow, and be sent — not just to attend, but to become.

Live True — We walk in the light, letting our lives match our message. 1 John 1:7 – “If we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another…” Ephesians 4:25 – “…let each one of you speak the truth with his neighbor…”

Pray First — We seek God’s face before we move our feet. Acts 4:31 – “…they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness.” Colossians 4:2 – “Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving.”

Stand on Scripture — God’s Word is our final authority and daily guide. 2 Timothy 3:16–17 – “All Scripture is breathed out by God… that the man of God may be complete…” Psalm 119:105 – “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”

Filled with the Spirit — We depend on His presence, power, gifts, and fruit in all we do. Ephesians 5:18–19 – “…be filled with the Spirit…” Galatians 5:22–23 – “…the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace…”

Belong Together — We share life, burdens, and joy as one family in Christ. Acts 2:44–47 – “…all who believed were together and had all things in common…” Galatians 6:2 – “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.”

Equip the Saints — Every believer is trained and released to serve. Ephesians 4:11–12 – “…to equip the saints for the work of ministry…” 1 Peter 4:10 – “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another…”

Multiply Disciples — We follow Jesus and help others follow Him. Matthew 28:19–20 – “Go… make disciples of all nations…” 2 Timothy 2:2 – “…entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.”

Go Near and Far — We cross streets and cultures with Christ’s love. Acts 1:8 – “…you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem… and to the end of the earth.” Romans 10:18 – “…their voice has gone out to all the earth…”

Show the Gospel — We declare good news in both word and deed. Romans 10:14–15 – “…how are they to hear without someone preaching?” James 2:17 – “…faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.”

Remember the Cross — Baptism and the Table anchor our identity. Romans 6:4 – “…we were buried therefore with him by baptism into death…” 1 Corinthians 11:26 – “…as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death…”

Speak the Truth in Love — We restore, correct, and encourage with grace. Ephesians 4:15 – “…speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way…” Galatians 6:1 – “…restore him in a spirit of gentleness.”

Endure with Hope — We live and labor in light of Jesus’ return. Hebrews 12:1–2 – “…let us run with endurance… looking to Jesus…” 1 Thessalonians 1:3 – “…steadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.”

At Common Table Church, discipleship is not a program -- it’s a shared journey. We walk with people from curiosity to conviction, from belonging to multiplying, all centered on Jesus. Our pathway unfolds in five clear steps: • Engage – We begin with presence and hospitality, creating space for connection and trust. • Establish – We share the Gospel story and invite a personal response to Jesus. • Equip – We help believers repent, believe, and be baptized — grounding them in truth. • Empower – We obey Jesus together, practicing rhythms of prayer, Scripture, and community. • Expand – We send disciples into households and nations, multiplying what God has started. This pathway is reproducible, relational, and rooted in Scripture — designed to raise up everyday followers who live and lead like Jesus.
